REPLY: Sometimes this effort can be like looking for a needle in a haystack, but asking Sun Spots for help often yields surprising results! I hope listing these names and posting them to Sun Spots Land helps.

LOVE SUN SPOTS: First of all I want to let you know that Sun Spots has been a lifesaver for me. I read your column every day and am constantly adding names and numbers to my rolodex for future reference.

I was wondering if you have two different trading persons or companies in your Rolodex. First I am looking for someone to snow blow my garden this winter.

Secondly I am looking for a small engine mechanic, preferably a mobile small engine mechanic as I do not have the means to transport the equipment to be serviced. If these contractors could contact me at 224-0070 so we can meet that would be great. I’m on the south side of Turner near the Hannaford supermarket. – No name, Turner

REPLY: I am so happy that Sun Spots is helpful to you.

In the Rolodex I have Canyon Springs Landscaping (https://canyonspringslandscaping.com/, 576-2155); Farris Lawn Care (https://farrislawncarellc.com/services, 344-5212); and JBT Small Home Improvements (https://jbt-small-home-improvements.business.site/?utm_source=gmb&utm_medium=referral), 649-3481.

For small engine repairs I have Fox Small Engine Repair in Monmouth (https://www.foxsmallengines.com/, 933-4178). They may offer a pick up service. In Lisbon there is Roma & Sons Small Engine Repair (https://www.romaandsons.com/, 318-3512 They offer a pick up service.
